After long weekends on the mountain trails, Mondays are usually recovery days, and my friend Celeste has been redefining for me what this means, i.e. kicking my ass with her pilates class! The sessions are for me a cross between what I aspire to do in yoga but lack the discipline and what I've invested dearly in with Physical Therapy. Functional strengthening, great for pre-empting injury and increasing core toughness for surf, running, futbol, climbing (or even those fortunate enough to still be slouching at a work desk during Covid). Mat, foam roller, light weights, resistance band are the only props necessary, and a wifi connect for zoom.  Hope to 'see' you in class (though I'm remaining anonymous until I work out these muscle shakes).
