I've Never done this! 

What do I need to know!?!?

WHAT IF I'VE never done pilates before? 

  • You definitely do not need any Pilates experience to take my classes. I offer plenty of variations and options since I know we are all coming from different places in our life, places on the globe, and with a variety of physical journeys and injury histories. 

  • The queueing is less knit-picky than what you might find in some of the more authentic Pilates methods. It will still be descriptive analogies to move you through sneaky isolations and deep releases. However, it's more of a fusion of methods inspired by a variety of practices where the focus is staying curious and playful in our strengths and ranges. As opposed to stricter traditional methods where the positions have no wiggle room. I find the body stays more motivated when it feels free and shows off what it's capable of, instead of constantly feeing limited or trying to play catch up. 

No, really, it's been a really long time since I worked out. what if I can't keep up?

  • Something I always tell my clients is, "You do you." Which I take very seriously. I think advanced movement is actually knowing where to back off, not to constantly push. So I feel very proud when a client customizes a move.  

  • When I'm planning a flow and am unsure about a move I always go back to, "if it's not fun, I'm not doing it." Which I also take very seriously. It's my personal mission to keep the 50 minutes we have together playfully challenging and seriously fun.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • Canceling is as simple as signing into your Vagaro for Pilatecising account (same place where you signed up). Navigate to Classes in your profile and modify as needed.

  • You must cancel at least 24 hours before class for a refund on your class purchase or package deduction. Feels good to be fit and LEGIT!
